JEC Oxfordshire Attended 'Jaguars@Gaydon- - Sunday 22nd September

A small clutch of 'die hard' JEC Oxfordshire Members joined together to attend the British Motor Museum / Jagaur Daimler Heritage Trust's ' Jaguars@Gaydon' event.

The weather was foul and the turn out rather reduced but a good time was still had.

The Plans Evolved But We Showed Willing !!

Originally, the Oxfordshire Region was attending to 'pay back' the JDHT for all its support of our programme, but they did not end up needing us, so we could enjoy the event itself for once, rather than being recruiting sargeants for the Club.

A number o Region Members cried off due to the weather but the 5 Jaguars and their owners made for a brave showing.

Still Things To See

The Members fuelled up with drinks and a bacon bap before surfing the BMM displays and the JDHT collection.

The JDC's Champions of Champions event was on, so the JDHT had a reduced amount of the collection showing. So we will have to come back to see the last XE, XF and F-Type.

But onoe of our number also volunteers at the JDHT, so a plot was hatched forv which Jaguars from the collection we want for our 2025 'Veterans@Heritage' event. To see which you'll need to attend.

We also had the opportunity of a chat with the Club's General Manager and Events Assistant. JLR's 'Reimagine' Strategy is certainly causing lots of debate about the Club's future strategy.

Despite the weather and our foreshortened attendance due to it, everyone had a good time.
