JEC Oxon Will Attend & Display @ The Shuttleworth Collection's Festival Of Flight - Saturday 28th June 2025
This is, currently and deliberately, our ONLY event in June, hence a really ‘special’ event.
Having selected this event back in September, it was a real pleasure to find out that South Lincolnshire Region, and other ' Eastern England' Regions are also attending. Adding in Oxfordshire, Bucxks & Herts and Bedfordshire Regions turns this into a real presence for the JEC at another venue where lots of potential Club Members will be present.
There's something for all the family with lots to see and do, including some interesting gardens just over the road. The air show part of the day will include an eclectic range of aircraft of all ages and types. In addition, there’s the hangars and restoration workshops to tour plus other interesting things on the ground and passing over (BBMF aircraft, Red Arrows and more). The flying programme runs from about 11:00 to 21:00.
They want to invoice us and receive payment in advance, such that we will need to collect payments into the Region Account. We may well organise ‘pretty routes’ there and back and perhaps stop off somewhere for a bite to eat on our way home.
We 'did' the 'land' in March and the 'sea' in May, so it is highly appropriate to do 'air' in June. Will you be joining us ?
