Wednesday October 25th, 2023, Cars Coffee and Chat at the Raemoir Garden Centre Banchory
The final quarter of any year is always a bit strange and can feel to be a bit of an anticlimax, especially after the highs of being able to be out and about in our Jaguar and driving through the magnificent scenery we have here in the Grampian Region, but we do try and maintain the social aspect of our Club during the winter months. To that end, we had one of our cars, coffee, and chat during late October, although the weather probably put a lot of folks off from getting out and about at all. We were planning to have a Technical Evening in the company of our local JLR dealership, who were very supportive to our Annual Gathering in July, but it just wasn’t possible to get a suitable evening pulled together. We have a supper evening followed by our Region’s AGM in November and then our Christmas Dinner at Kippie Lodge on the 2nd of December and we hope to see as many of you as possible for that. Once into January, it will be all about the planning for 2024 and you should look out for the email to advise you of the date to get involved in the calendar for the year ahead. Of course, for 2024, the JEC will be celebrating its 40th anniversary, but those celebrations clash with our own Annual Gathering at Drum Castle on the last Sunday of July, so there will be a choice of JEC Festivals for then.
