Regional Car of the Month - March 2024 - Ian Lake's XF-S

Ian purchased his Jaguar XF-S Portfolio in November 2019, and his XF has been very reliable apart from a door lock that needed Josh as EMS Diagnostics attention and a replacement battery. The weak battery did prevent Ian from enjoying the superb Meridian sound system unless the engine was running, but this was all resolved in 2022.

The XF-S was damaged after an incident with a mature gentleman attempting to turn right from the inside lane of a roundabout in September 2021. The collision resulting in the front apron of the car being damaged and luckily the car was fully repaired, and the damage was never registered.

Ian’s experience with the superb V6 diesel engine in the XF-S made him seek out the same engine in his more recent purchase of a Jaguar F-Pace AWD and whilst Ian is impressed with the much higher level of technology in his F-Pace, he still prefers driving his XF.

He has found the XF-S to be an extremely capable performer, with phenomenal acceleration, and very assured handling.
