Our BBQ at The Old Hand and Diamond Inn was well attended and enjoyed by all. £321.00 was raised for Macmillan Nurses. Thanks to Martin for organising this. The Severn Hospice Classic Car Show at Attingham Park was the following day. Once again, we had a strong regional presence at this popular event. In spite of a poor forecast, the weather was kind to us. We met up with some old friends and made some new ones. We even had cake!

Our monthly meetings are held every second Tuesday commencing at 8:00pm at the Fox and Hounds in Shawbury. Everyone is welcome. Do introduce yourself if it is your first meeting. Our last meeting again coincided with the landlord’s car club and there was a wonderful display on the car park including a vintage Bentley. Some of us went to the pub early to have a meal and look at the cars.

There are two further breakfast meetings at The British Ironwork Centre, near Oswestry on 7th October, and 9th December. This has become a generally very well supported event with some interesting cars.

The next Alderford Lake Classic Car Breakfast Meeting, near Whitchurch will be held on 14th October from 9:00 until 11:00am.
