The friendly managers at The Binstead Arms hosted us after our Easter Egg Hunt, April 2023. We were all impressed with the friendly, efficient service and the quality of their food. We did say we would return.
20th – 21st April, Sandown Sprint
The Sandown Sprint was the first event planned for March 2020, but this was unfortunately postponed due to the coronavirus lockdown in 2020 and again in 2021. The inaugural Island Car Centre Sandown Sprint was run over 2nd & 3rd April 2022.
Be prepared for a weekend of exhilarating fun, perfect for the whole family set against the spectacular backdrop of Bembridge Down. Enjoy unparalleled views of all the action from the spectator viewing areas along the beach esplanade and in our exclusive VIP hospitality area.

Friday 22nd March, 10-Pin Bowling, Ryde
This event will take place at 7pm on Friday 22nd March and will cost £12.50 for 2 games. There is food and drinks available. We will join up in teams for 2 games. We have prizes for the members with the highest score and the lowest sore. Sunday 21st April, Drive it Day
A big thank you to Bob and Wendy who have agreed to plan a route for our Drive Out.
National Drive It Day was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005. It is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and various car clubs have the opportunity to celebrate a Drive Out. It is also a chance to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads. We welcome modern cars as well.
Sunday 23rd June, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Simply Jaguar
All Jaguar owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu and park up in the National Motor Museum grounds on Sunday 23rd June for a superb day that Jaguar owners and enthusiasts will love.
All ages and models of Jaguar and Daimler are welcome, which provides a great opportunity to admire some stunning vehicles on display.
TICKETS & PRICES
Participant prices are only valid if arriving in a Jaguar and taking part in the rally. They are not valid for those arriving on foot.
Please note, participant tickets are per person and enough tickets must be purchased to cover all the occupants of a vehicle.
Children under 5 require a ticket, this can be booked online free of charge when booking your adult tickets.
Participant and visitor tickets will include entrance to the rest of the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Little Beaulieu, World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey and its grounds and gardens.

26th – 28th July, Summer Jaguar Festival, 40th Anniversary
Join us at our host venue, the Chesford Grange, Kenilworth. Arriving from Friday afternoon and leaving Monday morning. This comprehensive package includes:
- Three nights stay in a 4 star hotel.
- Breakfast, Sat, Sun and Mon.
- Hog roast Friday Night.
- Gala Dinner Saturday Night.
- Buffett and movie Sunday night.
- Access to the swimming pool and gym.

Sunday 11th August, Our Regional Day Show
Planning has been underway since last September.
Please add this date to your diary.
We would like to introduce a ‘Buddy Scheme’. This will enable members to attach themselves to one of our organisers to understand the requirements necessary in the planning of our show and the organisation on the day. This will act rather like an understudy in the theatre, so should anything happen that our main organisers are unable to carry on their roles, there is someone else to step in and help. More details at the AGM.
7th & 8th September, Isle of Wight Classic Car Extravaganza (Vic’s Car Show)
This event is planned to return to the original format of Saturday at Newport Quay and Sunday at Ryde Esplanade. If you wish to display your car at this event you will need to apply to Paddy on-line at [email protected] Can you also let Keith know that you are planning to attend, so hopefully we can arrange to park together. More details later.
11th – 15th September, 2024, Club visit to Circuit des Remparts, France
Our planning meeting has now taken place and 6 couples are venturing to France.
Hotel reservations have been made. We are looking forward to a great adventure.
