Join members on a Sunday morning at The Smithy, Godshill, for Coffee and Cars. Join us for coffee, bacon butties and a good old chat.
Sunday 9th July, Visit to Goddards Brewery
The membership payment to the brewery club of £12.50 is a one-off payment, NOT an annual payment. As long as you visit at least once a year your membership is extended. (This is to ensure there are no gangs of rowdy youths or flocks of tourists.)
Each new brewery club member is entitled to a free taster board of 3 samples of ale, of your choice, or a pint. You will also get 10% discount from anything you choose to purchase from the shop.
We are booked in for Sunday lunch in their lovely bar/restaurant at 12.00 for a 12.30pm sit down. It will take a while for memberships to be made and there is lots to see on the screens, the video area and the viewing gallery. Several members are going to the brewery after leaving Godshill.
Each member can take 2 guests into the Visitor Experience and Firkin Deck Restaurant and bar.
Sunday 9th July, Cowes Classic Car Display
We have been contacted from Cowes Royal Yacht Club, requesting a few Jaguars for the Classic Day
Sunday 16th July, VHVC Day at Arreton Barns
This is always and enjoyable event and we like to offer VHVC our support. As usual we plan to enter this event together in a group, this will ensure we can all park together. We will meet at the car park of The Hare and Hounds at about 10am ready to set out together at 10.30am. The entrance fee is £5, please have the £5 cash ready. Keith will collect the entrance fee from everyone and lead our group down the hill to Arreton Barns. This allows us to quickly pay and enter the show field
Saturday 22nd July, Club BBQ at Ray Lovers
A big thank you to Ray Lover for hosting this event. We are planning a BBQ of burgers and hot dogs with lots of accompaniments including veggie options. The BBQ is free to club members, but you do need to bring your own drink, and table and chairs. To ensure we know how many to cater for please sign up on the event forms at our Monthly Monday Meeting or at Godshill on Sunday mornings, or contact Jackie on 562521 or [email protected]
Tuesday 22nd August, Smallbrook Speedway Stadium
Graham Leach has very kindly and generously offered to sponsor this event for members entrance and buffet. Members will need to pay for their own drinks.
