News from Staffordshire North Region

There was a great turnout of members at the December club night (I always expect it to be quiet). This was our last meeting at Moorville Hall hotel. Our meetings from January are not too far from there in the Potters Bar at Meir Park just off the A50 – but do note meetings have reverted to the 3^rd Tuesday of the month starting at 8:00pm. On Tuesday 18^th February at our region clubnight we hold the regional Annual General Meeting starting at 8.00pm, we are always looking for new ideas and folks to help with arrangements so any suggestions are welcome, we also present a trophy to the “Member of the Year winner 2024” at the same meeting, plus there may be some other awards on the night. The show/events list is building up nicely now, so time to get your car(s) polished, please join us on club nights for details of what is on and when, I think the first event is the popular visit to the Foxfield railway for our own “Breakfast meeting.” There is also a planned tour of parts of Yorkshire this year.
