News from Staffordshire North Region
September was too dark for the “Car of the month” competition so it didn’t happen. We attended various events, thanks to Carol Ingram and Dave Page for making the arrangements again this year. We were at the Isle of Man, Eccleshall, Apedale and others plus our final visit in October to the Foxfield railway. The Christmas Dinner/Dance this year is at Moorville Hall hotel in Cellarhead on Saturday 6th January 2024, the evening will follow our normal format of 7:30pm start, meal (which you must pre-book), raffle (all proceeds to the Midlands Air Ambulance appeal), followed by dancing (for the energetic!). Rooms are available if required. Come to our next meeting on Wednesday 19th November for an 8.00pm start, email me or contact Brian Pye to book your places and reserve a room at Moorville Hall, application forms should appear on our web pages soon. We will have a region calendar for 2024 although the cost of this is not yet available (I expect it to be in the region of £12 - £15), there is still time to submit a good quality picture (at least 1Mb) for selection before the November club night, if you would like a calendar please drop me a line, email, phone call or come to the November club night meeting as I only order the quantity of calendars required.
