News from North Staffordshire Region
The second club night meeting at Moorville Hall went well, the raffle took a while as one ticket drawn was being held by a member in another room but they couldn’t find the ticket until close to the end of the raffle. The evening was well attended with a marvelous choice of Jaguar/Daimlers on the car park to choose from for our second “Car of the Month” competition, this time it was won by Dave Rockey with his XK8, in fact the first, second and third places were all XK8’s. The picture from the region is Stan Crutchley whose car won the July competition. Carol Ingram and Dave Page ran through the next couple of month’s events we will be attending. We welcomed several new to the region members and hope they enjoyed the evening and will choose to return in the future. One important date for you to note is the provisional booking for our annual Christmas Dinner/Dance which, this year, will be at the Moorville Hall hotel on Saturday 8th January 2022 from 7:30pm. There will be rooms available should you like to stay overnight. If you would like your car to feature in our region calendar for next year please send me one (or at the most two) pictures, these need to be good quality with a small amount of space around the car(s) and if possible square or landscape orientation. Come and join us on the third Wednesday of every month for an 8:00 start.
