News from North Staffordshire Region
At the Shugborough show prizes were awarded as follows - Best overall and the ‘Presidents trophy to Dave Page for his outstanding S type, the 1st place plaque went to Kathi Cheetham’s XJ12 Ser 3, 2nd to the S type belonging to Paul Hasset and 3rd Keith Ingram’s XJ6 series 3. The best visitor was awarded to Steve Bass and his XK8 - well done all
Car of the month chosen in August was Stan Crutchley’s MKII and raffle prizes went to Janette Hollies, Kathi Cheetham, John Deaville and Anna Kaliz – Thanks to everyone who donated the prizes and also to Hazel Sutton for selling the tickets
There was standing room only at the meeting and there were 22 Jaguar/Daimlers on the car park. We welcomed New Members John and Sue Riley and potential members Paul and Janette Hollies along with Norman and June Harding
If you would like to go to it please book the Christmas dinner dance at the North Stafford hotel on Saturday 9th January 2016 – forms are available from Brian Bye, Also, prepare suitable photos of your car and submit 1 or at most 2 photos for the region calendar at the next club night or email them to me (please ensure they are of a suitable size – small ones give a poor result)
