News from North Staffordshire Region

Well this is a difficult month to write as nothing is happening – as the virus restrictions and advice started to come about in March it coincided with the region club night at the North Staffordshire hotel in Stoke, at the time there was no clear directive so we chose to leave the meeting “open choice” for members, Brian Pye attended along with 14 others, the usual raffle was not held but had it been one of the raffle prizes donated by a member was a ‘toilet roll’ – a star prize given what was happening at the time! There will be no club night meetings now until advised, most if not all the shows we attend have been cancelled as far as we know but some events may be postponed to a later date this year. Hopefully later in the year, if things start to return to normal, we will have our own show at the Bleeding Wolf and this is well worth attending to see the fine cars on display, hopefully if I am not jinxing it the sun usually shines on the day.
