News from North Staffordshire Region

At the March club night meeting we had another great turn out of members with no less than 35 present – and a few regulars were missing! We should get a bumper attendance for the summer club nights. All the prizes for the raffle were donated this month, there were 6 in total. Thanks for the donations and well done to the winners. In March we held a talk given by the Institute of Advanced Motorists and buffet in Hartshill at which over 40 members attended, the room was sponsored by Andy White of AJW independent Jaguar garage from Longton.

The first ‘car of the month’ competition will take place on the May club night so get your car up and running. We will be attending the Transtar Promotions show at Catton hall on Sunday 3rd May, Our show to be held at the Bleeding Wolf is planned for Sunday 28^th June and judging by past events will be a fantastic meeting. Many great shows are already planned for this year, some old ones but also some new ones (don’t forget you need to apply for tickets at most of these events at least two weeks in advance), I must remind you to be eligible for the prizes we award at Shugborough you must have attended a minimum of 6 club night meetings since July 2014.
