News from North Staffordshire Region

At the beginning of November several region committee members attended the clubs AGM in Castle Bromwich, during the November club night meeting I gave a brief report of what went on at the AGM. Brian Pye, our nomination for the Spirit of the Club award, unfortunately was not chosen as winner of the award. In November seven members took up an invitation to visit Krown Rustproofing facility at Tipton and were given the opportunity to watch the rustproofing treatment being applied to a members Jaguar, this was a thorough process and a lot of care was seen to be taken, many thanks to Robert, Oscar and Tim of Krown. In January we had our annual Dinner Dance and on club night a quiz organized by Cristian Leese and Patrick Sutton, I will report on these in next month’s regional news. At our February club night meeting we will be holding our region’s AGM where we will be looking for ideas to help the region move forward and also announce the winner of our Member of the Year award. Join us at the Bleeding Wolf on the 3^rd Tuesday of any month for further details and to keep up to date with what is happening in the region. There will be plenty of shows for 2018, some old ones and some new. We will also be having our own Jaguar and Daimler show as usual at the Bleeding Wolf, probably around May or June.
