News from North Staffordshire Region

In February we hold the Annual General Meeting for our region and this will be a first for us as it will be the first one on Zoom. The meeting will start at 8.00pm on Tuesday 16th February and you will need to click the meeting link provided in the meeting invite to join in. Unfortunately, if you do not have access to a computer your only recourse in taking part is by submitting points for discussion prior to the meeting and for voting purposes submitting a proxy vote. You should have received the agenda, financial report and link to the meeting at the beginning of February. On 30th January the club held its AGM again this was on Zoom and details of what went on will no doubt appear in this or the next club magazine. In January Carol and Keith Ingram along with myself attended a meeting (using Zoom) of the North West ambassadors’ regions hosted by Paul Rogers for quite a lively debate of various regional issues. Various Show organisers are publishing dates for car shows etc. which hopefully will go ahead and enable us to meet face to face again. There is no indication as to when region meetings will resume, so we are hoping it will not be long.
