At the February club night meeting we held the regional Annual General meeting, this was well attended with 44 members present. The accounts were presented by Carol Ingram showing we are in a good state of financial health for the previous 12 month period. The whole committee of members were re-elected for next year, Chairman – Brian Pye, Treasurer/Events Organiser – Carol Ingram, Joint events organiser - Dave Page, Secretary/Regional Organiser – Mike Beirne, and committee members - Alan Vasey, Dave Rockey and Keith Ingram. A presentation was made to the ‘North Staffordshire region member of the year’ who attained the most points over the last 12 months, well done and congratulations to Keith Ingram who won by a single point. We have planned a Sunday car show at the Bleeding Wolf, date to be announced later, where we will be presenting our region prizes. Our popular ‘car of the month’ competition will take place on club nights May to September (light/weather permitting) so make sure you attend in you ‘pride and joy’. Many shows are planned for the year (don’t forget you need to apply for tickets at least two weeks in advance to the organisers of the relevant show), we are unable to provide tickets on a Friday for a show on Sunday! and not all shows appear in this news roundup so if you would like to join us come along to a club night on the 3rd Tuesday of the month to the Bleeding Wolf in Scholar Green.
