New for 2024
It’s the mid-winter slowdown in Grampian and cars without four-wheel drive are not faring so well. Whilst at the time of writing we have not had many snow days, the heavy frosts after the New Year are making some of the roads quite treacherous. With many of our cars on SORN, we will be looking at a number of our impromptu “Cars, Coffee and Chat” outings, where the idea is that these are arranged at fairly short notice via the email list, and you come along in any car that you have that is suitable for the conditions. Keep an eye on your inbox. Our Planning Meeting will have been concluded shortly and following our member survey, the plans are to change things up a gear, with more daytime meetups and different days to suit what our Members have told us. In addition to our regular events and outings, together with the other three Scottish Regions we are planning a major event, Scottish Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Day 2024, on the esplanade of the Riverside Museum in Glasgow on Saturday the 29th of June 2024. This iconic, modern day, building will be playing host to the largest Jaguar Gathering in Scotland, so get that date in your diary now as places will be limited and pre-registration will be required, which should be opening soon. The usual Drum gathering is being planned for July 28th.
