Meeting with Patch Jobson, JEC Regional Manager.

The normal monthly meeting agenda was suspended as we welcomed not only Patch but also our JEC friends from Edinburgh and Glasgow Regions.

Patch had accepted our invitation to head north to meet our members and answer questions. His trip started with an enjoyable visit to Grampian Region JEC, joining them for dinner and participating in their annual show at Drum Castle.

For the meeting, members had been asked to submit questions in advance. The range of questions was wide, varied and sometimes challenging. The open and transparent forum led to interesting and thought provoking discussions, addressing issues and stimulating suggestions for the way forward for both the Regions and JEC.

We extend our thanks to Patch for taking the time to join us and our JEC friends and we look forward to seeing the implementation of the outcomes from the meeting.
