JEC Devon JaguarBall Run donates £250.00 to Homelessness Charity

Whilst 2020 in many ways was a horrid year, on a rather sunny weekend in September, plucky members from all over Devon came together to take part in a brand new event for the region. Welcome to the JaguarBall Run 2020.

The plan was simple.

To drive from Exmouth Quay in the East of Devon, to what was a very busy Woolacombe Bay in North Devon.

In one of the longest "drive out's" the region has undertaken in some time, members were simply given the directions, told about a few key checkpoints, and the hope was that everyone who took part would end up in the same place, at the same time ....

It nearly worked .. and most ended up in the same place.

Overall, twenty five cars took part, with over fifty members in tow.

For every car that took part a £10.00 donation from the region was made to St.Petroc's, who support the homeless community in around Exeter. In total £250.00 was raised and has since been handed over to assist the efforts undertaken by the charity.

As the event was enjoyed by all, it has already been penned for return in 2021.

The committee would also like to thank Tony Crouch & Adam from Lagjander who kindly gave up a Sunday to provide Technical Support.
