The weather was perfect for a drive through the picturesque South Lincolnshire countryside.
To start the day, 23 cars and 46 members met at "The Wishing Well", Dyke for coffee/tea and a sausage or bacon sandwich. Spurred on by the thought of a carvery at "The Black Horse", Baston we jumped into our cars and navigated 55 miles through South Lincolnshire and Rutland before arriving at our destination for lunch. Both pubs made us extremely welcome.
The biggest praise of course goes to Neil and Sue for organising our "Drive It Day" and preparing the very detailed "Tulip" routes. Thank you from us all. We know it takes a lot of planning. The diet starts tomorrow!
