JEC South Lincs. - A Grand Day Out on the "Tour of Lincs 100"
A big thank you to John Elkington and colleagues for organising yet another wonderful "Tour of Lincs 100" Classic car run.
Over 100 cars met in Woodhall Spa to participate in the 13th annual Lincs 100 tour, to drive 100 miles through the Lincolnshire Wolds in support of the Rotary Club charities and the Air Ambulance. Although the dawn had brought rain it cleared up in time for the start which included coffee and croissants at the Golf Hotel, it could not dampen the enthusiasm for "Le Grand Depart".
Lunch at Uncle Henry's provided a welcome stop and offered hot food and views across the Wolds.
In the afternoon the rally route meandered through yet more of Lincolnshire's finest countryside, although some also found themselves being chased by the rain clouds.
The rally ended at "The Venue" in Navenby where tea and cakes were provided by John Elkington and David Leech's friends and family. A delightful finish to a splendid rally. Thank you again from the JEC South LIncs for organising a brilliant day out.
