Thank you George and Maggie for organising a fantastic fenland treasure hunt. Twelve cars (24 club members) explored some interesting villages where we discovered the tallest windmill in the country and even saw a legacy of Dr Beeching.
It was a cool day but at least it remained dry so we could all enjoy the countryside and broad horizons.
We ended up at the Bluebell Inn, Whaplode St Catherine for a well deserved Sunday roast after which the winning car was announced. Well done Neil and Sue for leading from pole position showing the rest of us how sleuthing is really done. Enjoy polishing the club treasure hunt trophy!
