The Somerset Boat Centre proved a fabulous venue to meet. Parking showed off the range of cars attending and it was really lovely to see the classics coming out of hibernation. We had 32 Jaguars plus the honorary Morris Minor courtesy of David and Joanna and there were also a few Jaguars amongst the visitor cars. The Boat Centre did a great job with their own advertising on social media to attract a good crowd who came to check out the vehicles.
The drive to Cheddar showed off our amazing Somerset countryside over The Levels and the Mendip Hills and, of course, the stunning drive down through Cheddar Gorge. We were treated to a superb lunch at The Bath Arms and many followed this with a stroll in the sunshine around The Gorge. Great company, great food, great weather, a great drive and, all in all, a great day.
