Great West Jaguar & Classic Car Day hailed as a success
After a record breaking turnout of over 100 cars, on the hottest day of 2017 to date, this years Great West Jaguar & Classic Car Day, held at Torre Abbey in Torquay has broken all show records to date.
As the heat increased slowly throughout the day hundreds of people
decided to take to the stunning grounds of Torre Abbey to visit the
show. The marques were varied and there was something on show for
everyone.
Due to the fine weather visitor not only came to have a walk around
and view the cars, but ended up spending most of the day relaxing in the
grounds, whilst sharing comment and conversation.
At the end of the day a raffle was held, and Torquay's Mayor Gorden
Oliver presented a selection of awards to some of the more outstanding
vehicles on display. Mayor Oliver has also commented that the event
would most certainly be welcomed back for another appearance in 2018.
