Sunday 21st April - FBHVC Drive It Day to Amberley Museum, New Barn Rd, Amberley, BN18 9LT

West Sussex Region JEC will be joining Jaguar Drivers Club Area 2 Sussex to take part in a fun day out on National Drive It Day 2024 to Amberley Museum. This annual event in support of NSPCC Childline has raised many thousands of pounds over the years and was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) in 2005 to promote the use of “yesterdays” vehicles supporting today’s children. To participate please go online to https://www.driveitday.co.uk/ and purchase your special 2024 edition fundraising plate, display it on your Jaguar and drive to Amberley Museum. Only cars displaying this plate will be admitted.

Please arrive between 8.30am and 9.30am to park on the museum site (not in the public car park). During the day there will be opportunities to enjoy all of the attractions at the museum. Further information is at https://www.amberleymuseum.co....

In addition to buying a Drive It Day plate, booking for this event and payment for museum entry need to be made in advance. Please email [email protected] with your car registration, names of people who will be in the car along with the car model and year by Sunday 7 April.

Sunday 5th May – Steyning Vintage Revival – 11am – 4pm. This is a free community event being held from 11am to 4pm with music, antique and good stalls, old fashioned fairground rides and many classic vehicles. It will be a good day out for all the family. Tuesday 14th May – Goodwood Tracksport Event. 2024 is a special year in the life of the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary. A special anniversary requires a very special venue and there is none more so than Goodwood Circuit. Our JEC TrackSport season opener will offer you the chance drive one the most historic circuits with our celebratory track day. Home of the world-famous Goodwood Revival and Members' Meeting. Goodwood Motor Circuit combines all the nostalgia of the golden era of motorsport. The 2.4-mile circuit celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2023 and has remained unchanged in layout since 1948. The very best have driven here, Hawthorn, Hill, Moss, Clark, Stewart and McLaren to name a few from the ‘Golden Era’ of motorsport.

In addition to on track activities, there will be plenty see off track with some fantastic cars on display, fitting of the wonderful surroundings. Passenger hot laps with our partners Swallows Racing will be available to book on the day as well as a host of guest cars, trade stands and partners. We will be also offering a low-speed driving parade around the track following a safety car for those not wishing to take part in the track day but giving you a chance to drive the historic circuit. No need to book, entry will be on a first come first served basis. Entry fee £3 per vehicle payable at the gate. Exhibits must be covered by appropriate insurance and are exhibited at the owner’s risk. All Jaguar owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu and park up in the National Motor Museum grounds for a superb day that Jaguar owners and enthusiasts alike will love. All ages and models of Jaguar are welcome, which provides a great opportunity to admire some stunning vehicles on display. You will need to book your tickets in advance. Details are at:

Friday 28 – Sunday 30 June – Inter-Club International Weekend - Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire

Saturday 29 June - Danefold Country Market & Classic Car Show - Danefold Farm, Littleworth Lane, Partridge Green RH13 8EJ – 9am – 4pm. The event is free to enter, however an indication of intent to turn up is advisable to ensure enough display space is allocated. Pasture-fed pedigree beef producers "Danefold Farms" are the hosts of "Danefold Country Market" - a very relaxed event specialising in local artisan products. With over 70+ stalls there is so much to see, taste & buy; as well as a dog show and a classic car display - of which you can be a part. There is also live music, refreshments, a burger stall, a bar, a vintage fun fair, plant stalls and much more. The market is open from 9am - 4pm and you are free to arrive and leave at your pleasure. Sunday 4th August – Jaguars at Parham

Please bring your Jaguar or Daimler along with your family and friends to join us for a lovely day at Parham, situated off the A283 between Storrington and Pulborough, West Sussex RH20 4HR

Simon Jenkins placed Parham in his Top 20 of “England’s Thousand Best Houses”.

It’s an attractive Elizabethan stately home with some beautiful gardens set amongst the rolling South Downs in wonderful West Sussex countryside.

No booking required, gates open to Jaguars and Daimlers from 10.00am until noon.

Event closes at 4.30pm.

Event price of £10 per person which includes entry to the Gardens.

To visit inside Parham House, you may upgrade your ticket for an additional £4.00

Child (5 – 15 years old) ticket £5. An additional £4 to visit the House.

Parham is a cashless venue so payment is by debit or credit card only please.

Monday 26th August – Brands Britannia (Brands Hatch Indy) - Brands Britannia returns for a summer Bank Holiday celebration of the British motoring industry! The Kent circuit will commemorate the country's greatest automotive achievements with a 'Great British race-off' and a gleaming display featuring the best-loved UK manufacturers. The Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC) will bring retro track action to the Indy, circuit with fabulous grids of classic cars dating back to the 1950s. British motorsport will be celebrated further with appearances from the famous Silk Cut liveried 1988 Jaguar XJR-9 and 1989 Jaguar XJR-11 from the heyday of Group C racing. Friday 6th December - Christmas Evening meal at The Hickstead Hotel, Jobs Lane, Hickstead, West Sussex, RH17 5NZ. The hotel is via an exit from the eastbound dual carriageway from the A2300 roundabout of the A23. The evening will begin with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal and then music for dancing. There is a bar area away from the music for those that would prefer a quieter evening after the meal. The Region has paid a deposit to hold last year's price of £42.95 per person.
