A regular summer speaker for the JEC West Sussex Region, former TWR Silk Cut Jaguar Marketing Director Richard West returns this year for ‘an evening with a difference’. West Sussex Region Chair, Ian Newman, will quiz Richard on his career highlights and hopefully unlock some secrets from his career spent working with McLaren, Arrows and Williams in F1 and working with the likes of Schumacher, Senna, Lauda, Hill, Prost, Coulthard and of course, Nigel Mansell. The evening would not be complete without tales from his time spent with TWR Jaguar, ‘the boss’ Tom Walkinshaw, Martin Brundle, Andy Wallace and the gang and what it took to win Le Mans in 88’ and 90’. To help Ian, Richard will bring along some items from his personal collection of photographs, framed items and even his Le Mans 1990 winners medal, so this is an evening not to be missed. We have not even started on his latter day career as a business author, speaker and of course, working within the operations department of the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club.
