The venue for the meet was The Carrie restaurant, a family run business for many years.
We left Carrickfergus around 7 pm and headed towards the scenic village of Gleno, onto Kilwaughter and then over Shanes Hill into Moorfields where we headed towards our venue in Kells.
When we arrived the place was buzzing with their famous Steak Night in full swing.
We were allocated a private room where we had our fish and chips, got caught up with everyone's news and got excited about our next outing on Sunday 15th June a River Bann Boat Cruise and tour of Church Island and Lough Beg.
A very enjoyable night that finished with a great meal in very tasteful surroundings.
There were a few of us asking for menus to take home intending to revisit the venue sometime soon.
