We could not have asked for better weather for our Rickinghall Car Show and Craft Fair and we can be justifiably proud of the day. Around 220 cars attended with over 1000 paying members of the public visited. The catering tent and the bar both had to nip out for more supplies and the ice cream van had a bumper day! There were some rare cars attending and we have had many congratulatory comments. But the great aspect is how the members all contributed to the proceedings, whether it be hauling barriers around, putting up signs, selling raffle tickets or sweeping the Hall at the end of the day. A significant amount will be added to our charity fund, this year for the RNLI.

I was pleased to get three votes for my X350, but as two were from two ten year olds who I let sit in the car, (" Why has it only got two pedals?") they really did not count!

As they say in Government, lessons will be learned for things we could do better, or completely forgot to do, but the hall is booked for next year. So sorry, folks, you've got to do it all again!
