September was a busy month for the region, commencing with an excellent visit to P and A Wood, Rolls Royce specialists ( where POA meant £1M plus), a visit to Boxted Airfield and the last show of the year at Colchester.
Our October meeting will feature a magician as a speaker, then in November a contingent will visit the NEC for the Classic Car Show. However November 25 sees our grand 'Speakeasy' themed Dinner Dance at Felixstowe, complete with a live jazz band and singer and our regular international Rat Pack singer, Steve Dunnett. If anybody would like to come, do ask us as there may be a cancellation. Our colleagues from Thameside are joining us and it promises to be a memorable evening.
The regular Christmas meal will be held at the 4 December meeting and menus will be issued in October. Then we get planning, to do it all again next year!
