The trip to Littlecote Manor was organised by Bob Weaver and was thoroughly enjoyed by all the 43 people who went. The House was lovely, it was a shame the weather could not have been a bit nicer so that we could have enjoyed the extensive grounds and gardens. The food was varied and really enjoyable, and the entertainment each evening was absolutely brilliant, especially the Jersey Boys tribute on the Saturday Night. Lesley Weaver was called up on stage to be serenaded by the boys. The evenings were rounded off by some sometimes quite risqué comedy in the bar, some provided by the resident comedians and some by our own members!
We had a coach trip to the lovely city of Bath on the Saturday, with a very interesting guided walk led by Bob Weaver, and on the Sunday quite a few of us drove into the Cotswolds to visit the gorgeous little village of Bourton On The Water – and its small but fascinating car museum!
