Essex and Suffolk Borders - October News

The clocks have now gone back. Where did that year go? We have our Dinner Dance to look forward to on November 23, so more about that next time and hopefully some interesting pictures. Our buffet will take place at the December 2 meeting, (pre booking required) but please note there is no meeting in January. Too cold, too dark and too close to Christmas and New Year! We were very fortunate in securing the JEC Star Award for Community Involvement and this relates to the Rickinghall Car Show and Craft Fair in May. We won a trophy, sponsors gift and £250 for our charity and this reflects the hard work put in to make it a success.

Keep a look out for the lunch dates for January, February and March, which will be published shortly, and the AGM will be at our February meeting. The usual auction will be in April, so start seeking out those items you feel sure a fellow member will wish to snap up on the night. Although we did not have any takers for the tins of fence paint last time....
