The annual Dinner Dance was a great success.We were joined by 40 guests from Thameside. The tables looked amazing and many of our members had come in period costume to match the Venetian theme, so there was an array of brocade, lace, wigs and buckled shoes. The ladies looked fantastic too! We were entertained by a soprano of international repute who had filled in at the last minute due to illness and a great evening was had by all. Thanks to Bob and Clive for all their hard work, which was much appreciated. So we start it all again next year, commencing with our lunches in January, February and March. Karen has sent out an initial schedule for 2020 and more details will be advised as things are confirmed. The AGM will be at the February club night on the 3rd and we would like the usual good attendance on that evening.
