Essex and Suffolk Borders - May News

During one of the driest April and May periods on record we are unable to go to events and we all look forward to something happening before the end of the summer. But with Weeting Steam Fair, Helmingham and Walsham le Willows Open Gardens all cancelled due to the Covid19 restrictions, we don't know when that will be. The committee will keep you informed as we are advised of developments. Organisers have expressed their regret and hope we will all come to the shows next year. Even if things are relaxed, we don't know what the take - up will be with people still wary on the social distancing and public contact, which is very understandable from those with underlying health conditions. So we will continue to keep you advised, both as to the outdoor shows and indoor events such as the NEC Classic Car Show. I know some people have put their cars on SORN, but for those still enjoying them the countryside is in its prime if you go out for a drive.
