We are now in the depths of summer, allegedly and visited a new venue for a show at Hedingham Castle in Essex. We had a two row line up of cars in the picturesque surroundings and several members suggested we should return. So we will add it to our schedule as an annual summer show. It is also possible to get a good aerial view from the castle - no drones required! Several members also very much enjoyed a tour round the RSPCA animal home at Martlesham, ably guided round by the centre manager Zoe. All were impressed by the facilities and staff and as the Central Suffolk branch is our nominated charity this year, it was good to see where the money will go.
