Essex and Suffolk Borders - January News

Our golf club lunches to get the year started seem to go well and Diss was no exception in January. Welcome to new members David and Alison Bradshaw. Clacton Golf Club lunch on 19 February will be preceded by the handing over of our charity donation to the RNLI. On March19 it is Felixstowe Golf Club. Our AGM is the 6 February and our charity for the forthcoming year is the Suffolk Central branch of the RSPCA, nominated by Helen.

Arrangements are being made for a Drive It Day visit to Flixton Aviation Museum - albeit one week later than the official day - followed by lunch in the pub next door. The museum is booked to Citroëns on the day, so ours will be 30 April.

The two big events for us this year are our own Rickinghall Show on 21 May, and our Dinner Dance - with a Gatsby theme and live entertainment - on 25 November. Neighbouring regions are very welcome to contact us for further information. Plans for both are going well and we hope to exceed even the excellent results seen at the previous events. It won 't be for the lack of trying!
