Our 'Drive It' day was brought forward to the 7th April because many of our members were going to the Isle of Wight for a long weekend later in the month.
Ipswich Transport Museum is housed in the Ipswich's old bus depot. Exhibits include a fully restored 1920's Ipswich electric tram and trolley bus. Alongside these are many other interesting buses, fire engines, ambulances, bicycles.
There is also a Cambridge horse drawn tram undergoing restoration.
After the visit to the museum 20 or so Jaguars of various models, drove to The Boot at Freston were we all enjoyed a great lunch.
