Essex and Suffolk Borders - February News

All the news from around the region

Our AGM will be held on the 4th February, when a cheque will be presented to Headway, the brain injury charity we supported in 2018. The January lunch went very well at Felixstowe Golf Club, to be followed by Colne Valley in February and Copdock in March. We welcomed new members Mark and Allison at the January lunch, in their F Type.

Events are now progressing; the 1 April meeting will be our auction of car related items, plus anything else you wish to try, providing you can carry it! Then on 7 April we have our early Drive It day run, to Ipswich Transport Museum and a pub on the Shotley peninsular; names, please to Geoff for this one. The Rickinghall Show on 5 May is our own show and we would like as many cars there as possible so that we can get you helping out with raffle tickets, parking or whatever on the day. Many members are then going on a trip to the Isle of Wight from the 26 - 29 April, organised by Bob Weaver.

Do, please, book with the organising member as early as possible for the shows coming up over the summer. Euston is always a favourite, then we are pleased to return to Ludham this year, as it is held biannually. Those who did not go to the Open Gardens and boat transfers in 2017 are encouraged to go this year.

As always, contact details and dates for the shows are on the appropriate web page.

Let's hope we have another amazing summer so we can get the cars out into the countryside.
