Essex and Suffolk Borders = December News

New from around the region and from our Chairman

The end of 2024 saw the presentation of our cheque for £2500 to our charity of the year, called the Enfold Project. This is a small charity in Clacton, attached to a Baptist Church, helping the homeless and vulnerable people with a hot meal and attention to minor medical needs. Speaking with the treasurer, she said our donation would assist with food costs for two years. They were very grateful for our contribution and gave us a card signed by trustees, helpers and a few service users. The Christmas meal in December went as well as always and please sign up for the Sunday Lunches if you have not yet done so - the dates are Clacton 16 February and Felixstowe 16 March ; the January one will have taken place by the time you read this at Diss.

The programme for 2025 is now being put together, and we look forward to the various shows and events. Happy New Year, everyone, and very best wishes from the committee.
