News from our Chairman

Our February lunch at Clacton Golf Club went very well with 40 members attending. This was preceded with 10 members visiting the RNLI station in the town, where we presented them with a cheque for £1500 which will go in their new lifeboat fund. We were treated to a view from the upstairs lookout, watching the lifeboat coming ashore onto the tractor. After photos, with lifeboat men aboard, it then went out to sea again to continue the practice manoeuvres.

March will see the final lunch at Felixstowe and the March meeting will feature a talk about Boxted Airfield Museum. The 3 April meeting will feature something very different, so don't miss it!

Obviously the show season is nearly here, so please register your interest for the various shows and visits with the organiser detailed on the schedule.
