Not as lot to report at the moment other than our first lunchtime meeting for the Winter was well attended and we enjoyed a good lunch and chat at the Robin Hood.
By the time you read this we will have had our Christmas Lunch at Biggin Hall, and the numbers now stand at 44 which is excellent.
We are looking into a visit to JCB early in the New Year and this is being co ordinated by Glyn Bell who many of you may know has contacts there through his business. Again, this has been well received and to date 33 have expressed interest, which may be a problem, but we will await further news once dates are released for 2024.
Another possible visit in February is to Gulliver’s World at Warrington to see the “Land of Light” display. This would involve an overnight stay and dinner and I will circulate details when available.
Once a programme has been sorted for 2024 it will be circulated to everyone and any idea for visits/lunches/run outs etc are appreciated.
