Derbyshire Region Report for July 2023

This month saw our “Run Out” organised by Rachel Jenkinson and we had 25 take part on a rather dull evening, with the weather forecast not looking good, which would probably explain the low turn out. We welcomed new members Mark and Dawn Wells on the run and hope they enjoyed the evening and will join us on future meetings. Twelve cars set out, on roads a few had not travelled on before, plus a few diversions, and covered about 30 miles. Unfortunate only 11 cars returned, as John Wilkes had what we believe were some ignition problems with his E Type, but understand he got home safely. Thanks to Rachel, Hartley and Nigel for their work in organising this and checking everyone in and out.

We hope to run “Bonnets Up” in August but the weather has been against us this month so who knows what August has to offer!

Not much else to report at the moment but please have a look at the Derbyshire Region on the Clubs website as there are numerous reports and photos on there which should be of interest.
