Car Show at Dovedale Garage raises £495 for Weston Park Cancer Charity

We hired Dovedale Garage in Thorpe for a charity car show inspired by the some of the superb classic cars which our members and friends have, including Philip Haslam's XK120 DHC, the XK120 FHC belonging to Trevor Fern, and Barrie's S Type plus plenty of others.

On total we had 26 cars on the day, and Dave from Dovedale Garage brought out several of his own cars to add to the atmosphere.

A total of £495 was raised on the day, which includes £265 from the raffle and donations. Roger has sent a cheque off to Weston Park Cancer Charity.
