Derbyshire Region - Bonnets Up Night 8th August 2023

After 2 attempts at holding the 'Bonnets Up' night were foiled by the poor weather (or poor weather forecast!), it was third time lucky as we were blessed with a sunny warm evening in August.

We had a very good turnout, so much so that we filled the back room at The Robin Hood and a table of 6 had to adjourn to the bar in order to eat!

We had 23 Jaguar's in total, plus a couple of non-Jaguars making around 50 attendees in total.

The Hatfield Cup: Brian Culley - E Type

The Don Holland Trophy - David Hough - XK8 Coupe

It was a very enjoyable evening with some very interesting cars.

Martin Latimer brought along his MG NA Magnette (1934) which he has owned for nearly 50 years. Martin bought it as a 'box of bits' barn find, and although not eligable for either trophy it certainly stole the show!
