The venue was organised by the Irish Jaguar and Daimler Club who for the first time in many years had invited ourselves JEC NI, Jaguar Drivers Club NI and JEC Cork all to come together for a special day out.
On arrival we were greeted with open arms and made feel very welcome.
Their events coordinator Ian Epstein spoke first detailing the days events and then the club chairman Tom Hudson welcomed everyone and voiced his delight in us all coming together.
After a good chinwag and a scrumptious breakfast we all set off to 'The Magic Hill' near Jenkinstown. Sun shining we all had the unforgettable experience of our cars mysteriously rolling uphill instead of down.
In disbelief we drove the scenic drive to Slieve Gullion Forest and visited the cafe within where we munched our way through some delicious traybakes while making new friends and drinking some great coffee.
The afternoon saw us drive the scenic route through the forest park soaking up the panoramic views stopping at one of the many viewpoints for a photo shoot of the cars.
We all said our goodbyes and promised to get together for further joint outings.
