Eight cars met early in the morning for the Bo'ness Revival and hill climb. The entry to the field was very muddy after heavy rain the day before. We were so glad of our friends at Edinburgh JEC when Dave came to the rescue to help the drivers wife push one of our e-types out of the mud! Thanks Dave and thanks to Brian for cleaning the mud off Shona's nose - not a good look!
We enjoyed the hospitality of The Drivers Club and were so luck with the weather, the sun being a definite bonus.
There was a collection of Jim Clark's cars on show and we were blown away by the C-Type strutting its stuff in the agility tests and the stunning D-Type replica.
The hill climb was really interesting with a few spills as the drivers raced through the narrow course. Getting into the paddock to see the wide range of cars up close let us experience the enthusiasm and commitment of the racers.
The highlight of the day for many was the Tunnocks van which was giving out free biscuits.
Definitely a trip for next year's calendar.
