Bob and Jean’s drive day - Bangers and Cash

The JEC drive it day was kindly arranged by Bob and Jean. The day started with a leisurely drive to the NY500 in Pickering for a coffee. We then headed to Thornton le Dale for the bonnets up competition which was judged by Derek of Mathewson’s Classic cars (from the TV show Bangers and Cash). The prize was in the balance for a short time between Neil and Alan but Derek went with Alan’s car quoting ‘it was the colour that got me - just stunning!’.
