Annual Barbecue

It was hosted this year by our recent member Joel English, who kindly opened up his fantastic home to us all. Set high in the Co Antrim hills overlooking Larne and Carrickfergus, the house has wonderful views of the Scottish coastline.

With over 46 members attending, Joel gave us a night to remember. We were greeted by a live 5 piece band called Midnight Moon. in which our club secretary Terry Taylor plays bass guitar. They sounded great, playing a mixture of folk and soul music all evening. The BBQ at this stage was in full swing with a great aroma in the air. After our meal we were treated to a wonderful array of homemade desserts made by some of our members. Joel then gave all the petrol heads amongst us a tour of his impressive collection of performance cars, each one restored and tuned to perfection.

We drove home with ballads from Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy ringing in our ears. A super night was had by all!
