2025 planning

By the time you are reading this report, the GRJEC Calendar should have popped into your Inbox, or you can read about our plans on the website. We had a good discussion at the Planning Meeting, held in mid-January at Kippie Lodge, a lunchtime gathering for a change. All of the usual events are included in the Calendar such as site visits, countryside run and dine outings, Speaker ideas, the Weekend Away, and the dates for the Annual Gathering at Drum – Sunday the 27th of July. We have tried to vary the programme and hope to see many of you coming along. We are looking for Members to volunteer to arrange “Impromptu Cars, Coffee, and Chat”, which could not be simpler. Just decide about one week in advance that you are going to be at your favourite local coffee shop and send the details of time, date and location to Bill Ironside to alert the members. No need to collect numbers, just turn up and enjoy the company of others who can make it along.

We have arranged to meet the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance team at Aberdeen airport on 14th February to present our fund raising cheque to them - further on that next month.
