Following the advance notification late last year, I am pleased to inform you that Registration for the 2nd Scottish Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Day at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow is now “OPEN”. Please send an email to Jim Mann at [email protected] to secure your place. The entrance fee will once again be £10 per car, with all proceeds being donated to the charity. Additional details and the event parking pass will be sent out to those who have registered in due course.

Confirmed to be in attendance for 2025 will be Peter Leake, the Chairman of the JEC and he will be supported by the JEC General Manager, James Blackwell in the Club’s XF Sportbrake, so this will be your chance to meet the Club Chairman and General Manager in person to hear first-hand what is happening within the JEC going forward.

This will be a rerun of the 2024 event, which was hugely enjoyable and raised over £1,500 for the chosen charity, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), who will also be the nominated charity of the event in 2025.

For those of you who have not visited the Riverside Museum, it is a fantastic building with a stunning collection of Scotland’s transport history, AND its free to enter, plus it has a permanently moored Tall Ship, The Glenlee on the River Clyde, immediately adjacent to the Riverside – actually on the quayside of the museum. In addition, the newly opened Partick to Govan pedestrian bridge allows easy access to the attractions on the south side of the River Clyde. Accordingly, there is lots to see and do. Plus, there is a restaurant and café onsite as well. For “the other half” that may wish to experience the retail therapy that Glasgow – the Second City of the Empire - can offer, rather than chat about the fabulous Jaguars on display, there is a regular bus service from the front of the museum to the heart of the city and return.

We are aiming for a minimum of 100 cars on the day, but for anyone who does not want to be a part of the display on the forecourt / esplanade of the museum, but simply wishes to come along and see the cars for free, there is a huge Pay and Display car park immediately adjacent.

Once again, all 4 of the JEC Scottish Regions will be involved in pulling this prestigious event together and we are looking forward to working with the teams from our fellow Regions to make something really special happen “North of the Border”. Pre-registration, which will be required to manage the display cars is now OPEN, so contact Jim Mann, the Scotland Regional Ambassador for the JEC by email at [email protected]
