This is an opportunity to ride the famous West Somerset Railway from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead with plenty of time in Minehead to have lunch, wander the seafront, shops and old harbour and explore some of the attractions

A JEC group area on carriage will be marked. Please note, as a group booking we are committed to the scheduled trains above and cannot travel on a later return journey nor stop off at stations en route

Bishops Lydeard Station, TA4 3RU. From Taunton follow WSR signs on A358, turn left at Bishops Lydear roundabout - signed Greenway, Ash Priors, Halse
Target arrival time at station 9.30 - 9.45 am
Station has a large car park and toilets.
We will park together in a marked JEC area
The station has a small basic cafe and shop on the platform
Across the tracks are a fine small railway museum and working model railway
The train has a buffet car that serves snacks (including pies and pasties), beverages and alcohol
There are toilets on the train
