JEC Somerset Gliding Experiance Friday 4th July

A fantastic opportunity to take a flight in a two seater glider with an instructor

• Experience gliding and soaring from an aerotow between 2000 and 4600ft
• Visitors sit in the front of the glider, affording the best view
• Flights cover areas such as: Wiltshire chalk uplands and The Deverills, Stourhead, Longleat House and Estate, Centre Parks
• Enjoy the views and take the opportunity to learn how to fly a glider

10.00am Arrive and grab a coffee 10.30 am Muster in the briefing room for a talk through the plan for the day and safety briefing 11.00 am Day spent around the launch point caravan area Tea, coffee and snacks available for purchase from the caravan shop plus easy access to own picnics from cars parked nearby Some seating available but advise to bring picnic tables and chairs If you don't want to fly this is a beautiful setting to sit and relax and enjoy the view with the gliders soaring silently above Fly throughout the day until everyone has had enough! Club visitors (us!) will have preference throughout the day over any gliding club members
